CO CORK, Ireland - A man and a teenager have been killed, and a man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle road traffic collision in the early hours of Monday morning.

The horrific crash took place around 5:30am Monday on the Kenmare Road near Glengarriff, in County Cork.

Two occupants of the vehicle, a man in his early 40s and a boy in his late teens, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man whose age has yet to be confirmed has been airlifted to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries. A fourth occupant of the vehicle, a male, was uninjured.

The services of Forensic Collision Investigators are on the scene. The road is currently closed with local diversions in place.

Garda at Bantry are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Garda are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time to make this footage available to Garda.
