Motorcyclist in 50s Dies in Wexford Single-Vehicle Collision

Gardai Request Information Following Deadly Wexford Crash

CO WEXFORD, Ireland - A motorcyclist in his 50s was killed in a single-vehicle road traffic collision near Taghmon, County Wexford, on Saturday evening. The crash occurred around 6:50 pm Saturday night on a local road in Poulpeasty.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transported to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination. No other injuries were reported.

The road remained closed overnight to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators to conduct an examination, with local diversions in place.

Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses, particularly those with camera footage (including dashcam) who were traveling in the area between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm Saturday night, to come forward.
