CO KILKENNY, Ireland - A woman pedestrian involved in a collision with a car on the N76 has died in hospital.
The woman was struck by a car on the N76 at Westcourt Demesne, Callan, Co. Kilkenny on Friday.
Emergency responders were called to the scene around 9 o'clock on Friday night.
The woman, who was aged in her 30s, was treated by medics at the scene of the collision before being taken to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny.
Tragically she passed away at St Luke's Hospital on Monday.
Investigating officers at Gardai are appealing for information.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dashcam) and were travelling in the area between 8.45pm and 9.15pm on Friday night, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
