Woman Seriously Injured in Dublin Hit-and-Run

DUBLIN, Ireland - Gardai are investigating a hit-and-run collision on Gardiner Street, Dublin 1, which left a woman in her 60s with serious injuries. The incident occurred on Thursday night at approximately 7:30pm when the woman pedestrian was struck by an electric scrambler.

The driver of the e-scrambler failed to remain at the scene. The seriously injured woman was initially taken to the Mater Misericordiae Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital for further treatment.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Mountjoy Garda Station at (01) 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any local Garda station.
